A Growing Problem

Obesity is a growing problem in today's world. The general size of the population has greatly increased in height, but more noticablly in weight. Weight is a major cause of death , along with smoking and alchoholic drinking. Our "new" and "improved" world makes it very easy to get greasy, unhealthy, fast food. Although, we have made incredible advances in sciences, mathematics, and general studies, we have somewhat decreased our quality of food.

Trying to control your weight may be challenging at times, however it is very possible. With dieting and regular, challenging workouts, you can control your weight. When you have already become over-weight, it is even harder to get back in shape, but that is when you need to be most focused on lowering your weight. It is then that the most deaths and injuries occurr from obesity.

Injuries may occur from obesity, however if you remain at overweight for a long period of time, and you are only injured, then you are lucky. Obesity is the second largest cause of death in the modern world, right after tobacco smoking. Various diseases sprout off from being overweight, things like heart disease, diabetes, and other serious medical conditions.
